Cumaru is an extremely durable and beautiful exotic wood. It has a relatively uniform soft brown color. Color variation in Cumaru flooring planks is slight and varies from soft brown to a deeper reddish brown with occasional dark stripes. Unlike most exotic wood species, Cumaru barely changes color over time or when exposed to intense sunlight.​
