Succupira is a Brazilian wood similar to a domestic chestnut. It is a native wood of Brazil. Succupira's heartwood features a very fine goldenish brown colour which makes it well suited for a sophisticated interior design. Sucupira is a very durable wood and much harder than most domestic species, matching the Janka Hardness of Hickory.
